You can find a list of all CSR creation instructions for nearly every platform and operating system here.

Once you’ve purchased your SSL certificate, you’re prepared to activate it. The method used to activate your SSL certificate will depend on where you eventually decide to buy it from. Sometimes, your hosting company will activate your SSL for you. You refresh the page Once, you should see your ready and not used to use certificate.

When you have triggered your certificate, you should validate it. Before you start to use an SSL certificate officially, you need to detect any presssing problems with it. Use an SSL Checker tool like this one from SSL Shopper to validate your certificate. Next, set up the certificate on your hosting server if it hasn’t recently been done from your web host. The process for setting up your certificate on your hosting server will depend on where you’ve built your site.
